The ORCA season
Sinopsis
This season takes place between 2024-12-02 and 2025-02-03.
A team is composed of 7 members, taking T10 ships and up to 3 T11 ships. Only surface ships are allowed.
Additionally, there are the following restrictions:
- Napoli, Petropavlovsk, Louisiana, Alexander Nevsky, Komissar and Hildebrand cannot be taken into battles.
- Limited the number of Kleber, Marceau and Marseille. One team may not have more than one of these ships in total.
- Limited the number of Moskva, Stalingrad and Des Moines. One team may not have more than one of these ships in total.
- Limited the number of Småland and Gdansk. One team may not have more than one of these ships in total.
- Limited the number of Admiral Ushakov, Zorky, Annapolis, and Condé. One team may not have more than one of these ships in total.
Battles will take place in the following maps: North, Hotspot, Islands of Ice, Land of Fire, Tears of the Desert, Shatter, and Northern Waters.
There were no changes in restrictions during the duration of the season.

Disclaimer
The following information is compiled from battles taken from the clans in our database.
To avoid bias based on the repeated teams these clans use, the statistics are taken from their enemies that are placed in the Hurricane and Typhoon leagues, for we believe lower leagues have too many random ships and do not count as "meta" compositions.
This makes the data sample limited but we believe it makes more sense and it becomes more accurate this way.
In addition, when comparing a ship, unless specified, it will be compared only to its own class. It would be unfair to compare numbers from a battleship, which is usually limited to 1 or 2, to cruisers and destroyers which usually are not limited.
When mentioning a ship, it also includes the statistics of exact clones. For instance, a "Kléber B" will be counted as "Kléber", but "Ship Smasha" will not be counted as "Akizuki". On the other hand, although "STAR Kitakaze" has less options for torpedoes than "Kitakaze", it will be counted as being a clone because all the stats/parameters are the same otherwise. A person could choose to take the same torpedo configuration on the tech tree version and it would exactly the same.
The data below will be updated at the end of each session, as long the season is active.

Class basics
The most played battleship so far is Cristoforo Colombo with 57.18% of the matches. Trailing behind is Maine with 27.83% of the matches, followed by Ohio with 5.92% of the matches. Being the meta pick, Cristoforo Colombo has an impressive 51.98% winrate.
On the cruiser side, the most played one is Novosibirsk having 38.41% of the matches. Just behind it follows Condé with 19.94% of the matches and Svea with 16.16% of the matches. Novosibirsk is not only the most played cruiser, it also has the best performance with 55.53% winrate.
When it comes to destroyers, Gdańsk does have a whole 28.70% of the matches, Marceau with 25.41% of the matches, and Småland with 13.69% of the matches. The most played destroyer, Gdańsk, does have a 58.03% winrate and it is the highest in class.
Compositions
Teams with two or more Novosibirsk had a 53.49% winrate. This composition was used in 57.54% of the teams.
Teams with one Novosibirsk and one Moskva had a 62.28% winrate. This composition was used in 35.3% of the teams.
Teams with one Annapolis and one or more Smoke destroyer had a 55.56% winrate. This composition was used in 13.57% of the teams.
Teams with one Jacksonville and one or more Smoke destroyer had a 57.14% winrate. This composition was used in 9.67% of the teams.
